Materials & Manufacturing

With our main goal to be more sustainable in our design and production, we use materials that allow us to do that as much as possible - starting with the filament in our printers, which is made from bioplastics that have been derived from corn and sugar cane!

Our 3D printed products are made using a combination of PLA and PETG filaments, with some also having recycled wood powder mixed in.

Benefits

100%

Reducing Waste
Using recycled PLA or PETG gives new life to plastic that would otherwise become waste, supporting a circular economy model.

70%

Offer More Affordable Price Tags

3D printing can reduce manufacturing costs by up to 70% compared to injection molding due to the absence of tooling/mold setup fees

60%

A 2020 study published in Journal of Cleaner Production found that 3D printing with recycled PETG consumes up to 60% less energy than producing the same part using virgin PET via injection molding.

60%

Mindful Production
Since we use on-demand production, this reduces the need for overseas shipping and warehousing, cutting transport-related emissions by 40–60% depending on the supply chain.
